Windows 10 1709 Fall Creators Update
If you are delaying Windows 10 1803 via Windows Update, you can still manually download and install today’s cumulative update KB4103727 from Microsoft Update Catalog. After the update, your build number will jump to 16299.431. Here is a look at what’s been improved in this build according to Microsoft’s notes:

Windows 10 1803 April 2018 Update
While we are recommending people hold off on the Windows 10 1803 April Update, the company did release some fixes with cumulative update KB4103721. However, this update doesn’t appear to be the magic one that will fix the issues so many of our readers have commented on. Here is a look at what’s fixed and improved with Windows 1803:
Addresses an issue with the April 2018 Windows Servicing update that causes App-V Scripts (User Scripts) to stop working.Addresses an issue that may cause some devices to stop responding or working when using applications, such as Cortana or Chrome, after installing the Windows 10 April 2018 Update.Addresses an issue that prevents certain VPN apps from working on builds of Windows 10, version 1803. Nah, just noticed that Windows Store is not downloading or installing apps, though I think this occurred after installing the first version of 1803. So no fix here for me! Went back to my troublesome account and picked any free app to download and install and it WORKED!
